DESCRIPTION

We look for caring and attentive associates focused on providing efficient services and the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in all areas of the resort. Reservation Clerks are responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing reservation request in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner, and communication of hotel services and promotions.  This position has a direct impact on the guest experience while staying at Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort.


 

REQUIREMENTS

•Follow directions thoroughly.
•Understand guests’ service needs
•Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
•Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
•Must be punctual
•Operate the hotel phone system in a friendly and efficient manner.
•Promptly provide accurate information regarding availability, accommodation types, transportation to and from hotel, rate, etc.
•Assist guests in making reservations for the Spa, golf course and selling tickets for the event center.
•Assign reservations based on guest preferences and availability
•Requires sitting for long periods of time in a confined space and in close proximity to other employees to continuously perform essential functions.
•Communicate hotel facilities and services to guests answering questions regarding local points of interest
•Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special guest requests.
•Read and update the Front Desk Communication Log daily.
•Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with rooms and grounds.
•Carry out any reasonable request by management that does not place at risk your safety, security or integrity.
•Know and follow the hotel emergency procedures.
•Ability to work under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
•Other duties as assigned/needed.
•A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
•Refined verbal and written communication skills.
