The Trainer III will be responsible for training external customers or team members primarily in a classroom environment. Creates interactive training tools utilizing technology

Essential Functions
• Mentor provide support to team members
• Contributes to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere and encourages good work habits
• Utilizes patience and understanding to assist and motivate team members
• Coordinates with team leadership to determine training needs
• Ensure team members are producing work to specifications
• Understands and is capable of performing the production work as needed
• Works with team leadership to monitor items such as scrap reduction and process efficiency
• Maintains training aids such as checklists, presentations, processes, and examples
• Ensures training documentation is completed
• May assist in the creation and documentation of processes and procedures
• Keeps informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in the training field
• May lead or support department improvement initiatives
• Formulates training programs and schedules based on the needs of the division
• Determines, or gives input to determine appropriate instructional procedures or methods
• Organizes and develops training materials and training evaluation procedures
• Ensures training documentation and reporting is completed
• Maintains training metrics to track utilization and identify needs
• Coordinates internal and external trainers and facilitators
• Depending on division, may have safety committee responsibilities
• Collaborate with team, other departments, or external sources to create innovative training delivery methods
• Utilize technology to motivate and engage learners of varied audiences

REQUIREMENTS
Education/experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience





Knowledge/skills/abilities
• General understanding of all jobs in the production area of responsibility
• Knowledge of fundamental production techniques is helpful
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and process instructions
• Ability and patience necessary to provide training
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with use of a computer, including Microsoft Office software
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff
• Ability to develop and deliver training to individuals or groups
• Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communications
• Intermediate proficiency with use of a computer, including Microsoft Office software
• Depending on position and division, may need to become a certified instructor in IPC and JSTD
• Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking
• Advanced proficiency with use of a computer - including Microsoft Office software, Adobe eLearning Suite including Captivate and/or Flash, including simulation design and development
• Depending on division, may need experience with Rapid Development methodologies
• Strong ability to coach and motivate. Possess enthusiasm and positive attitude
• Ability and willingness to respond to new concepts and changing priorities
• Depending on position, may travel up to 25% of time
• Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. ]
