Act as Business Partner to an Operating Division while providing front line Human Resources service and support for a division.

Essential Functions
•Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
•Have regular contact with team members and leadership in assigned division. Maintain knowledge of division to provide outstanding Human Resources service and support.
• Assure coordination and communication of all HR services.
• Respond to team member questions and concerns.
• Recruit, interview, and hire for specified positions. Coordinate appropriate pre-employment screening.
• Conduct team member onboarding.
• Serve as liaison between team member and all involved parties to manage worker’s compensation claims and related processes, including return to work coordination.
• Conduct exit interviews and appropriate follow-up.
• Lead or assist with special projects for HR or a division.
• Participate in department improvement activities.
• Handle team member formal complaints and investigations.
• Displays outstanding contribution and impact to the team and projects.
• Lead assigned projects, with limited assistance.
• Work is stated in terms of objectives requiring planning and judgment.
• Innovative in nature, and contributes to new ideas.
• Demonstrates the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the company’s quality management system and controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• 5+ years related experience is required.
• Ability to work with highly confidential information and documentation with discretion.
• Understanding of HR body of knowledge.
• Business acumen to work with all levels of leadership.
• In-depth understanding of HR body of knowledge.
• Ability to conduct investigations and discern issues to make recommendations based on findings.
• Displays and pursues the desire to learn more about the profession.
• PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
• Exceptional oral and written communications, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.
• Ability to be flexible and multitask.
• Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Limited travel as needed.
• Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required. Refer to Raven Vehicle Operations Policy CS-13 for guidelines.
