Our GoodShred Recycling Department (an affiliate of Goodwill of the Great Plains) has an opening for a Production Supervisor. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service skills, who has vast experience leading a team and managing a business. It will also require great flexibility as this job will cross-train with all other GoodShred positions to improve team coverage. High degree of proficiency with MS Office applications is essential. You may also have the opportunity to travel with our GoodShred driver throughout South Dakota to help with pickup and swap out of recycling bins.

You must be able to demonstrate servant leadership skills to teach, guide, inspire and support the GoodShred team, make proper decisions and display the ability to organize the area appropriately. Must have the ability to learn to use various equipment after training, lift up to 50 pounds frequently and display our core values of integrity, dignity and compassion on a daily basis.

You are eligible for a Personal Day and paid holidays upon hire with eligibility for health and dental insurance after 60 days. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Prior work experience in related field preferred
Prior experience working with people with disabilities helpful
Ability to identify colors and certain types of paper, e.g., carbon, white, color, trash in order to sort appropriately
Ability to break boxes, sweep, and do minor cleaning as needed
Ability to perform light maintenance on equipment
Ability to direct and lead a team
High degree of competency in using computer applications and accuracy in keyboarding skills
Exceptional internal and external customer service and interpersonal skills.
Because of the highly secure nature of this work, you will be required to pass a drug screen and a robust background check.
