The Goodwill Assistant Store Manager position offers multiple opportunities for you to show your leadership skills by assisting the Store Manager in guiding the store’s team members to excellence in the competitive world of resale goods, while helping them remember their passion to help others find success through work. We are looking for someone with 2 years experience in retail or a related field, preferably with management experience as well. You must be able to demonstrate and provide exceptional customer service; hold yourself and the team accountable; coach those who struggle but who desire to succeed; treat all those with whom you interact with dignity and respect; give clear instructions; be able to understand and carry out directions designed to deliver product and customer service excellence; maintain organization and inspire your team to follow your example of leadership. Some evening and weekend shift will be required.

Competitive wage and the ability to bonus with demonstrated sales results, generous 401K retirement plan, paid vacation and sick time. Eligibility for health and dental insurance after 60 days. Paid holidays and Personal Day available upon hire.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required.
• At least two years of prior retail sales experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Demonstrated ability in use of cash register and affiliated duties (giving correct change, etc.).
• Must be able to organize work.
• Must have reliable personal transportation, valid drivers license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, and communicate the English language to ensure understandable interaction with staff and customers.
