Job Description
The Maintenance Associate will have knowledge of maintenance duties including, but not limited to, general repairs, ground keeping and equipment. Maintaining the interior and exterior of the properties as outlined in lease agreements is a requirement.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations –
- Ability to demonstrate positive customer service with tenants
- Ability to analyze and respond to site issues
- Adhere to maintenance schedules at properties
- Safely maintain the physical condition and appearance of properties
- Inspect property grounds daily to ensure condition is maintained
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Assist Maintenance Manager with incoming and outgoing inspections of spaces
- Submit maintenance invoices for review & approval to Director of Real Estate Assets
- Maintain a positive relationship and timely communication with tenants
- Knowledge and ability to operate commercial-grade equipment (mower, trimmer, edger, skid steer, plow truck, etc.)
Education and Experience –
High school diploma or GED required.
Operating commercial-grade equipment experience required (Lawn Mower, Edger, Trimmer, Skid Steer, Plow Truck, etc.)
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Experience in construction or general maintenance preferred.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products, preferred.
Physical Demands: Individual must be able to sit, stand, and work in various seasons 40 hours per week
Travel Demands: Within Sioux Falls and surrounding areas on a daily basis
