Job Description
Responsible for driving and delivery of pre-ordered products to assigned accounts and for rotating and stocking product. Upon completion of 30 days of employment you will receive Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Holiday's, Vacation Benefits and 401 K. Chesterman Drivers are home nightly, work a five-day work week, no holidays or nights.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Check accuracy and stability of the load
- Deliver products to customer
- Merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards
- Invoice and collect monies due
- Pick up company property
- Secure company assets
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Settle all accounts daily
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Work Environment:
Depends upon the customer the employee is serving. May have to climb stairs and work in back rooms. Subject to outside elements and may have to work in heat, cold, rain and snow.
Education / Experience
- High-School Diploma / GED
- Ability to operate two- or four-wheel dolly.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations; must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements.
- Valid Class A CDL and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Visual and auditory abilities including depth perception and color vision.
- Constantly handling product and bending.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling and reaching.
- Ability to lift/carry 75lbs.
- Ability to push/pull 150 lbs.
