Job Description
I. What is the opportunity?
Do you like working with your hands and hand tools to build things from scratch? If so, we are hiring Fiberglass Manufacturing Associates to join the leader in the manufacturing of industrial fan systems for the movement of large volumes of air through large industrial and high-rise buildings.
II. How will you spend your time?
a. Production activities: working from blueprint instructions, gathering, and preparing necessary materials, applying fiberglass to molds, applying resins by brush or spray gun, cleaning and finishing product surface.
b. Fabrication activities: locate, fabricate, and attach attachments utilizing measuring instruments and hand power tools.
c. Finish activities: perform cleanup, finish, and quality inspection activities.
d. Stage finished product in inventory.
e. Maintain all required records.
f. Maintain a clean and safe work area.
III. We are excited about you if you have?
a. Work history of good performance, reliability, and job longevity.
b. Relevant manufacturing or construction experience.
c. Proficient use of blueprints, hand power tools, measuring instruments,
d. Basic math skills.
e. Good English communication skills.
f. Full physical ability (strength, flexibility, mobility) to meet the varying demands of the job.
IV. What do you get in return?
a. Work Schedule: 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, overtime on Friday as needed.
b. Starting Compensation: $19 to $21 hr.
