LifeScape is seeking a friendly individual that is passionate about food and providing great services for one of our terrific facilities! If you don’t have experience in this type of work, we are willing to teach you! This position is responsible for meal services within our Children’s location in Sioux Falls. Come and join a fantastic team and enjoy helping to serve meals for those that we support!

Here are a couple of the job roles that you will be completing as a Food Service Worker:

• Assists with production of hot foods
• Prepares special diets (food allergy/dysphasia) for contract locations
• Serves on the lunch line
• Helps with afternoon kitchen cleanup
• Helps put away stock
• Prepares sack lunch requests
• Monitors dish room

LifeScape is a qualifying employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience working in a commercial kitchen setting, hospital, school, or nursing homes is preferred. ServeSafe (or similar program) certification helpful and will be provided at a later date. Driver's license is not required for this position.
