Framing Foreman, Steel Stud ($30 to $35 hr.)

Job Description

I. What is the opportunity?

 If you are looking to advance your career in steel stud framing and management, this opportunity may be that chance. We are seeking Foremen to lead the steel stud framing teams of a leading regional drywall and wall systems contractor.

II. How will you spend your time?

1. Perform the functions of a Journeyman Steel Stud Framer.
2. Supervise project teams of 1 to 40 employees, based on the project scale.
3. Determine daily assignments based on project plans, to ensure efficient and effective completion of each project.

 III. We are excited about you if you have the following?

1. Work history of good performance, reliability, and job longevity.
2. 3+ years of steel stud framing experience.
3. Relevant supervisory experience, preferably as a Foreman.
4. Strong project organization, and planning skills working from blueprints or job layouts.
5. Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel stud framing.
6. Strong leadership and communication skills.
7. Good English communication skills.
8. Full physical ability to meet the varying demands of the job.

 IV. What do you get in return?

1. Work Schedule, out-of-town: 4-day work week.
2. Work schedule, in town: 4.5-day work week.
3. Starting Compensation: $30 to $35 hr.
