Southeastern Directions for Life has an immediate opening for a full-time Functional Family Therapist at the Summit location. Our mission is to "educate and support individuals to discover their directions for life." Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, varied hours. This position is expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the families. Will include 2-3 evenings per week.
JOB SUMMARY: You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing family therapy, building skills that will improve family relationships, reduce behavioral issues, and improve school performance. Average case load will be 8-12 families.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or other relevant human service professions; currently enrolled in a Master’s program. Master's Degree preferred. Prior experience working with youth and families would be beneficial. Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check, Motor Vehicle background check, and drug screening.
