 The primary role of this position is to handle inbound call inquiries regarding Vast Broadband products: Cable, High Speed Data, and Telephone for all markets.

REQUIREMENTS
Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
•Influence customers to buy services and merchandise by following a prepared sales process to give service and product information and price quotations.
•Follow assigned schedule to ensure accurate phone coverage, monitors priority of calls and shifts escalated calls to assure resolution of problems.
•Provide quality internal and external customer support
•Ability to prioritize and move quickly between inbound calls.
•Maintain positive, consistent and effective communications with your supervisor, team members and customers.
•Follow up with potential customers as needed via phone and email.
•Maintain a working knowledge of all products, processes and systems.
•Other duties as assigned by management.
•Solid performance against the critical metrics of the position. This is defined in reference to statistically charting the performance of their entire team (sales or service). Average (or mean) performance will be defined through a standard deviation analysis. Performance to successfully achieve advancement to the six month assessment level will be defined as no less than one negative deviation from the average or mean (in comparison to the results of the entire team). This average will be determined by reviewing scorecard performance for the prior three months.
•Solid attendance performance, evaluated by consistent adherence to attendance guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
•High School Diploma or GED required
•Sales and cold call experience preferred
•Telecommunications experience preferred
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with proficiency in Excel and Word.

Computer Skills:
•Ability to use Word processing, Internet software and e-mail.
•Must be capable of becoming proficient in the use of the billing system and tools used to support the customer (training provided).
