Job Responsibilities:
- Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials safely and efficiently to various job sites.
- Secure loads and ensure proper weight distribution for safe transportation.
- Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation related to the transportation of goods.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues immediately.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as a Lowboy / Heavy Haul Truck Driver.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel overnight as required.
