Charleston Court Condominiums is looking to hire a full time Maintence Tech.
Exciting position that will enable you to work with an association on a variety of tasks.
Performing routine maintenance around the buildings. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
Maintaining the Buildings HVAC and Boiler systems equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.
Applying preventative measures to the buildings to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using sealant on a flat roof.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Painting the Buildings when old paint has become faded or chipped.
Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems.
Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the buildings.
Groundskeeping, lawn care and other outdoor areas in need of maintenance
Service Requests - complete residents service requests in within 24-hour period
Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the buildings.
Maintenance Coverage after hours - schedule/execute on call rotation among maintenance team members to ensure someone is always available to handle service requests outside of normal business hours.
Property Emergencies – responsible for emergencies that may arise outside of normal business hours. i.e., flood, fire, power loss, etc.
Snow Removal – responsible for making sure property is always clear and accessible during snow falls.
Job Requirements:
General Maintenance Skills: plumbing, electric, carpentry, and appliance repairs
