Avera is now hiring a Mobile Unit Driver for our Blood Bank.
This position may be eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus with a 2-year commitment!!

Job Highlights:
- You will be responsible for transporting the bloodmobile to and from the mobile site, minor maintenance and repair of vehicle, inventory and resupply of consumables, cleaning of mobile unit before, during and after blood drives.
- You will handle donor registration, processing of donors, and address questions regarding the donation process.
- Coordinate shipment of blood from mobile unit to the hospital.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
- Class B Commercial Driver's License is required.
- Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening is required.
- Air Brake Certification required within 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule
- Varied Shifts; Shift length is typically 8 to 10 hours/day.
- 64 hours / 2-week pay period; 3 - 4 days/week.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
