We are looking for an experienced Purchasing / Inventory Administrator to join the local team of a national wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVC products. Responsibilities include:

  1. Manage inventory to optimize inventory availability, sales demand balance

  2. Perform accurate invoicing

  3. Reconcile daily cash payments; make bank deposit, process checks

  4. Process warranty paperwork and returns

  5. Monitor merchandise shipments and receipt

  6. Maintain system files for product information, pricing and reorder points

  7. Manage merchandise returns, customer/vendor complaints

1. Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM, M-F
2. Compensation: $15 to $20 hr.

1. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year purchasing and inventory control, prefer wholesale distribution
2. EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED, College degree or equivalent experience
3. SKILLS: Effective English written and Verbal communication, Prioritization and multi-tasking, . Adaptable to a variety of business computer systems and applications, Analytical of performance and operational results
4. ATTRIBUTES: Detail and accuracy orientation
5. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to meet physical demands of position
