Support the Midco Business Team through the collection and analysis of data, focusing on change management and process improvement by using metric-driven analytics. Formulate and present recommendations for process improvements by defining, reporting, and measuring performance of the Midco Business function.


•       Collect data and successfully analyze complex data sets and produce and present comprehensive reports.

•       Perform root cause analysis with data and identify change management recommendations to Director and department Executive.

•       Interpret data and develop process improvements to increase quality and efficiency; provide evidence to support recommendations.

•       Review business performance in the engineering, technical support and field operations and prepare plans, develop metrics, and recommend new operational process flow

•       Collect and accurately analyze quality evaluation data. Communicate results to functional managers

•       Define, document, analyze, and improve core business processes within the Midco Business department.

•       Lead and manage the application of process improvements, including the creation of implementation plans, benchmarking, communication, and reporting.

•       Coordinate efforts across operational teams to drive the implementation of new processes.

•       Work to standardize the data collection and reporting processes.

•       Develop and maintain metrics and reports for the Midco Business group.

•       Understand and work proficiently with analytical tools and models.

•       Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of interaction with internal and external customers.

•       Adhere to Midcontinent Communications privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.

•       Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.


•       Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments.

•       Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

•       Three to five years’ experience in process/business analysis required.

•       Education and experience in Lean Six Sigma, project management and process improvement preferred.

•       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.


  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
