Part-Time Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker

$17.51 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is accepting applications for a Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position involving up to 28 hours per week. Duties may include but are not limited to, perform skilled service and maintenance duties including tire repair, greasing, lubricating, fuel truck deliveries, and daily servicing of City vehicles, automotive equipment, truck, and/or heavy construction equipment. Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties, including the general repair, maintenance, and safety inspection of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by City departments.

Qualifications and Skills:
-Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.
-Must have a valid SD Drivers License.
-Steel-toed boots, work uniforms and PPE will be provided.

Hours for the position are flexible between 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
