Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team ONE DAY A WEEK (Friday, 8:30 AM - 7 PM). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others.
As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect and process payments
- Assist patients with questions and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality
