Dakota Traffic Services, LLC is a full-service traffic control, pavement marking, and signing company. We operate in much of South Dakota and Northwestern Iowa with offices in Tea, SD and Sioux City, Iowa. Our Pavement Marking division specializes in temporary, permanent, and durable pavement markings and pavement marking removals. We are looking for a Pavement Marking Technitions to join our team. This role rarely requires you to spend overnights out of town for work. If this occures, hotel and per diem will be paid.
Key Responsibility:
- Work with crew to install thermoplastic, paint and other pavement marking materials.
- Clean and prepare pavement for paint, epoxy, tape, or thermoplastic.
- Paint long lines (highway/roadways) and short lines (stencils and parking lots)
- Lift, carry, load and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, safety cones, stencils, etc.
- Perform and complete all work in compliance with DOT and quality guidelines, while maximizing production.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License Required, CDL Preferred.
- Pavement Marking and/or Traffic Control experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Must be able to pass a background/MVR and preemployment drug test.
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs
- Willing to work outdoors
- Ability to communicate effectively.
