Job Summary
- Perform general nursing care to patients.
- Greet patients and obtain up-to-date nursing assessment, medication reconciliation, and health history
- Chart prep new patient visits and ensure timeliness to visit is in place
- Collaborate with teammates on scheduling, chart prep, labs draws, medication refills, telemedicine visits, and other procedures within our clinic
- Triage patient calls and communicate changes with our MDs or APP
- Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Educate patient and family about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota required.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Certification within 3 years of hire required.
- Basic Life Support Certification required within 6 months of hire required.
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 72 hours every 2 weeks
