- Unit Demographics
- 12-bed observational unit
- Wide variety of patient types!!! Goal for patients is <2 days “Length of Stay”
- Non-emergent chest pain, ERCP, TIA, kidney stones, 24-hour EEG, long-term trials, appendectomy’s, generalized dizziness and/or weaknesses w/o a known root cause
- Preferred med/surg and orthopedics overflow unit
- Preferred overflow unit for stroke patients – ALL staff are NIH certified, team works hand-in-hand with neurology providers

Elizabeth, the unit supervisor, even works 2-3 floor shifts per schedule – they are present, and well-equipped to be practicing nursing professionals alongside YOU.

Work Schedule
- Hours:
- Registered Nurse - 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a – varied 50/50
- Every other weekend/holiday rotation – weekends are Friday-Sunday
- Anticipate growth to every 3rd weekend/holiday by 1-year
- Resource nursing professionals move up to every 4th weekend!!!
- (3) 12-hour shifts per week
- $3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL is available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights!!!
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
