DESCRIPTION

Growing property management company seeking full-time maintenance technician. Pay DOE.  


Facilities Maintenace:(including but not limited to) 



  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair and replacement. 

  • Perform preventative building maintenace duties such as changing furnace filters. 

  • Perform routine plumbing repairs such as unclogging toilets and sinks, replacing/repairing faucets, fixing water leaks, dishwashers, and washing machines. 

  • Perform routine elecrical repairs such as changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts, light fixtures, ceiling fans, garage door openers, ect. 

  • Perform drywall repair, including filling nail holes, and patching holes. 

  • Purchase supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to complete projects. 

  • Painting to include minor touch ups as well as turn-over painting. 

  • Groundskeeping to include mowing grass, pulling/spraying weeds, trimming trees and shrubs, watering, sweeping/raking leaves, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. 

  • Housekeeping duties to include maintaining common areas, halls, community rooms, fitness rooms, and pool areas.

  • Snow removal incluldes shoveling, blowing, or plowing snow, laying down snow/ice melt. 

  • Flexibility for on-call emergencies will be required. 


Customer Service: (including but not limited to)



  • Provide professional, prompt and courteous service

  • Provide adequate notice for routine maintenance items

  • Maintain a positive relationship with contracted vendors

  • Promote the community

  • Provide needed back-up support, which may include special projects, running errands, and back-up phone support. 


Time Management: (including but not limited to)



  • Maintain an organized scheduling and tracking system

  • Effectivily complete maintenance requests in a timely manner based on order received or urgency. 

  • Be available for work on an on-call basis

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED and one (2) years of building maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Driver's License and reliable vehicle
