Job Description
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience in restaurant cleaning
- Advanced knowledge of janitorial and kitchen cleaning practices
- Extensive knowledge of handling chemicals and using cleaning tools
- Familiarity with department policy, sanitation regulations, and OSHA regulations
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate appropriate cleaning equipment and utilize proper cleaning chemicals
- Wash, mop, and polish the floors of assigned restaurant areas
- Dust and wipe all counters, shelves, and tables on a regular basis
- Inspect and unclog all sink drains and remove garbage
- Report shortage of equipment and supplies to supervisor and ensure their requisition
- Understand and follow OSHA regulations and restaurant policies
