Transport Refrigeration Technician

Windwalker Transportation is hiring a Transport Refrigeration Technician for our shop. This position is a key role in our business, and we need someone who wants to grow with us! Grads are encouraged to apply!

In this position, you will be expected to service and maintain all reefer trailer units, troubleshoot and diagnose problems and work closely with Shop Staff to ensure trailers are fit for transport, including preventative maintenance. This position will travel locally to service reefers as needed but will be home daily.

Qualifications Needed:

• Transport Refrigeration Technical Degree or equivalent experience required.
• General trailer repair and maintenance experience. i.e. brakes, wheel seals, ABS systems and lights.
• Perform DOT Inspections
• Welding Experience is a plus.
• CDL B License required.
• Must have your own general tools.
