Job Description
Job Summary:Responsible for completing all receiving, warehousing, transportation and distribution operations; staging finished product and assuring customer product is shipped out on time.
Responsibilities:- Deliver material to appropriate locations and record transactions.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
- Documentation and shipment of items from the facility. Staging of packed finished product. Working with packing areas and planners to ensure on time shipments. Reviewing packaging to ensure that product is packaged for safe shipment.
- Operate forklifts.
- Document appropriate warehouse location of all productive material.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment by inspecting equipment; completion of pre-use inspections; requesting work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Maintains Quality Standards by adhering to all work instructions, control plans, and visual aids. Any questions/non-conformances are to be brought to the attention of their supervisor/team leader.
- Maintains Safe And Clean Working Environment by complying with all PPE requirements, procedures, rules, and regulations including wearing required personal safety protection equipment.
- Contributes to Team Efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Completes other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/team leader.
Requirements:- High School diploma or GED.
- Certified forklift driver.
- Ability to use XPPS software, email and Excel spreadsheets.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work independently and detail oriented.
- By assignment: Ability to operate semi-tractor trailer and heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills, both written and inter-personal.
Working Conditions:Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Temperature periodically exceeds 90 degrees. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
