Position: Website & Digital Specialist Dept./Location: Marketing & Communications/Based in Pipestone with the option of working remotely 2 days per week in Brandon, SD.


The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, managing and maintaining the primary websites and digital presence of PIPESTONE. Working closely with the Marketing & Information Technology team, and vendors to ensure web and digital presence are aligned with and support the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.


• Create and maintain website information, architecture/structure and navigation. Make changes to web as determined through site review.
• Monitor the effectiveness of PIPESTONE’s websites and other digital platforms and lead improvements to improve site performance, increase traffic, strengthen engagement with key audiences, and provide trackable calls to action.
• Serve as the project manager on any site redesign, web-related or app projects.
• Help troubleshoot & ensure website errors/issues are solved in a timely manner.
• Develop and manage training to customers and employees on website resources.
• Audit websites to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT team to design and implement scalable data flow & content reuse within the organization (e.g.: integrations between website, ERP system, warehouse operations, customer service team, etc.)
• Research, develop and manage digital marketing strategies to promote the PIPESTONE brand and service offerings
• Optimize content to improve SEO for key services and providers.
• Develop easy-to-use, clear, concise, comprehensible content
• Develop, manage, and respond to consumer feedback loops (e.g customer surveys)
• Provide analytic reporting and offer actionable recommendations leveraging Google Analytics and other analytic tools.
• Assist with other marketing and communication projects as needed


Education: Marketing, Digital Media or related degree


1. Experience with web development, design, and e-commerce sites.
2. Familiarity with backend website systems integration.
3. Experience with SEO improvement.
4. MUST be a strong, self-started adept at independent problem-solving
5. Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment
6. Effective time management skills

Skills: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and a driven leader that is capable of working in a fast paced team environment. This individual will be detail oriented and possess interpersonal skills that will allow them to effectively problem solve, communicate a plan of action, and motivate the team to complete the plan of action.
