Job Title: Account Executive Reports to: Manager Owner 

Employment Status: Full-Time; 

Exempt Effective Date: 12/01/2024 

Equipment Blades Inc is a distributor of wear parts for heavy equipment, motor graders, wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers and more. We represent the highest quality brand in the industry and pride ourselves on not only providing the best parts, but the best service as well. We service businesses all over the United States. 

Job Type: Full-Time 

Pay: Guaranteed Base plus commission. Annual Bonus based on company and personal performance. 

Work Location: Sioux Falls Equipment Blades 

Schedule:  Regular work hours between 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, and occasional weekends 

Travel:  As needed some overnights required. 

Benefits:  All travel expenses paid with a $67.00 per night per diem ? 50% company paid health insurance for employee ? Company 401K 4% match after 90 days ? Laptop/tablet to be used on the road for documenting calls ? 120 hours Paid Time Off 

We are seeking a self-motivated sales representative who is willing to receive inbound sales calls, make outbound sales calls, and conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions to new and existing customers. Conduct sales calls calling on municipalities, counties, construction companies, farmers, dairies, mines, gravel pits, cement companies, anyone with heavy equipment. We provide all the best technology and the latest marketing practices to ensure your success. 

Responsibilities and Expectations:  

Must be proficient in email and be able to save, search and attach files. 

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and service 

Must be a team player and have a positive, can-do attitude.  

Must want to make a difference in improving processes and workflows. 

Must be willing to collaborate and keep open lines of communication to improve and progress forward. 

Must be highly organized. 

Must be willing to work extra hours when necessary to get the job done in a timely manner. 

Must be a self-starter and goal oriented. 

Answer incoming calls and help customers 

Assist customers’ needs, provide assistance and information on product features 

Create estimates and invoices 

Build productive relationships with long term customers 

Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities) 

Travel on the road and possible overnight trips 

Deliver product on occasion  

Load customers equipment 

Operate a forklift 

Become an expert in our market Requirements and Experience: 

Sales experience required, have an understanding of sales practices, and customer service practices 

Required to become an expert in our market. 

Must be friendly and have an energetic personality with customer service focus – be open minded. 

Must have the ability to self-motivate. 

Experience in accounting software, Excel, Word, CRM, etc.  

Must have strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, likeable, reliable, and willing to do product demonstrations.

Must have mechanical experience. 

Accurate tape measure skills required. 

Must have a clean driving record. 

Previous outside sales experience, telemarketing experience, email marketing experience is a plus. 

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to do heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), operate forklift,
