ACH Processing Associate

Shift: M-F 10am - 7pm

About the Role
First PREMIER Bank is looking to add an energetic and motivated individual to join our Automated Clearing House (ACH) team! The ACH Processing Associate I will perform accurate and timely electronic processing of customer files while collaborating closely with our Treasury associates to complete daily responsibilities. Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform all daily processing of ACH transactions.

  • Collect and distribute electronic files from ACH customers.
  • Electronically transfer files to ACH Vendor and/or ACH Operator. (Scope:  Millions of dollars daily).
  • Monitor customer file balances from day-to-day to ensure consistency.
  • Electronically return any errors, non-sufficient funds, or unauthorized transactions to the company/client.

  • Receive incoming phone calls for clients/companies.

  • Receive and forward calls for clients, minimal research involved.
  • Provide back-up set up/support for Remote Deposit customers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must possess basic understanding of banking system with previous experience in a banking environment. 

• Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills and proficiency of the English language. 

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to meet daily deadlines, concentrate and work independently. 

• Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly. 

• Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold the PREMIER Way.
