Optimize Electric, Inc. is seeking an Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join the Salem SD office.
This position is part-time leading to full time. Working hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager and be responsible for maintaining AP and AR in QuickBooks Online and providing administrative support for the TX office. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administrative and clerical support for field electricians.
Skills:
Duties and Responsibilities:
-knowledge of the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to include general journal entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
-Ensure physical and electronic filing systems are maintained and current
-Answering phone calls
-Maintain confidentiality of employee and client information
-Other duties as assigned
Experience:
3 years
Qualifications:
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment with changing demands
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
- Minimum 3 years QuickBooks Online experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe
