JOB SUMMARY:

Join our team as an Administrative Assistant supporting our Human Resources Department and Equipment Fleet at Furniture Mart USA's Corporate Office in Sioux Falls, SD!   • Full-Time (40 hrs/wk): Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Manage HR email and in-person mailboxes at the Corporate Office; respond to general HR inquiries and represent the department.
  • Maintain driver files, DOT tracking, and MVR list; conduct annual MVR screens.
  • Coordinate monthly random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Track and record maintenance and operational info using Fleetmatics.
  • Advise on equipment replacement and purchasing.
  • Assist with acquiring and registering new equipment.
  • Organize and maintain file room; create electronic files.
  • Update and distribute contact/location lists.
  • Reconcile credit card and other invoices.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other assigned duties.


Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive data
  • Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check prior to starting employment
  • One-year related experience and/or training
  • Proficient in the use of computers and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and e-mail applications
