Position Overview:Children’s Home Society is a leading provider of services to vulnerable men, women, children, and families in South Dakota. As a Full-Time Outpatient Therapist , you will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, youth, adults, and families in an outpatient setting. This role is integral to supporting the mental health and well-being of our community members and aligns with our mission and values.

What You'll Do: Primary Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments, screenings, and documentation during evaluations.
- Develop and review individualized treatment plans with the team.
- Provide therapy tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with the treatment team and consult with service providers.
Team & Community Collaboration:- Build and maintain relationships with community resources, agencies, and referral sources.
- Facilitate caregiver training and public education as needed.
- Assist with program development, including forms and training curriculum.
Compliance & Reporting:- Complete reports, documentation, and compile statistical data.
- Maintain licensure and participate in required trainings.
- Provide on-call support as necessary.

Requirements
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline Required.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy Required.
Licensure:- Certified Social Worker in Private, Independent Practice (CSW - PIP) or Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health required
- Or CSW with Plan of Supervision complete.
- QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) Certification
Experience:- Two years’ experience in children and/or family programs required.
