The Community Learning Center (CLC) is a collaboration to connect Sioux Falls students and families to equitable and accessible community resources, educational opportunities, and programming. Job Duties & Requirements

EXPERIENCE DESIRED :	Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :	Hand-eye/mind-eye coordination, hearing; intermittent filing, grasping, holding, indexing, inserting, keyboarding, repetitive use of wrists, hands and fingers, opening, reaching, removing, scheduling, sitting, sorting, speaking, stamping, standing, stapling, stooping, typing, walking, and writing.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS	Ability to relate in a positive manner with employees and the public. Basic knowledge of computers, organization skills.

Essential Functions & Duties

1. Contribute to student learning, growth, and advancement.
2. Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s).
3. Develop learning activities, strategies, and curriculum for tutoring sessions.
4. Track student attendance and activities for tutoring sessions.
5. Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice.
6. Facilitate problem-solving with a curious mind and critical thinking skills.
7. Collaborate effectively with parents, school site personnel, and after-school and summer personnel to increase student performance.
8. Complete training requirements for Direct Care as determined by the State of South Dakota; assists in covering at sites in emergency situations.
9. Maintains positive community image of the Sioux Falls School District.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by direct or indirect supervisors.

$20.40 per hour

Hours may vary and are as needed.

Pay Day

Last working day of each month in accordance to the Payroll Cut Off Schedule.
