What You’ll Do as a Property Manager 

  • Manage rental activities: Show apartments, evaluate applications, prepare leases, and coordinate unit turnovers.
  • Oversee revenue and collections: Assist with budgeting, collect rent, follow up on payments, and manage eviction processes.
  • Build resident relationships: Address concerns promptly, foster positive resident interactions, and provide orientation materials.
  • Maintain accurate records: Keep property data updated in rental software, run reports, and ensure accurate tenant records.
  • Coordinate property maintenance: Identify maintenance needs and ensure building and grounds are in excellent condition.

What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician 

  • Perform general repairs and upkeep: Complete drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, and appliance fixes.
  • Prepare apartments for new tenants: Ensure all units meet move-in standards and handle any necessary repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues: Address plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections: Monitor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to prevent issues.
  • Respond to maintenance requests: Ensure prompt attention to repairs and emergencies.
  • Maintain grounds and safety: Remove snow and ice from pathways and ensure overall safety standards.

What We Are Looking For 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. A combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Property Management or related professional role. Proficiency in MS Office and mobile technology, with Rent Manager experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance technician or similar role. Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing is highly valued.
  • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and diplomacy skills. 
  • A motivated, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks throughout the shift.
  • A detail-oriented individual who values quality, safety, and maintains a professional approach.
