Job Summary

• Learn all aspects of turf management at Sherman Park.
• Lead all aspects of maintaining grounds at an athletic complex.
• Responsible for weekly water management, mowing schedule and mowing, fertilizer applications, overseeding applications, and aeration.
• Diagnose irrigation issues and perform repairs.
• Attend and participate in project management, event coordination, and stake holder relationship functions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Students enrolled in a Turf Management, or Parks and Recreation related curriculum, as a full-time student at a college, university, or vocational technical school.
• Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
