RCM is a leading commercial design-build & construction management company located in Sioux Falls. We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team to help with a construction project located near St. Joseph, MO.
SUMMARY
The role of the Assistant Superintendent is to provide assistance to the on-site Superintendent, assist in delegating tasks to subcontractors and organizing daily tasks. The Assistant Superintendent is to work on construction projects of various scopes & sizes, while transferring from multiple tasks where demands require.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Work with the Superintendent to organize daily tasks.
Communicate and Delegate tasks to subcontractors.
Perform quality assurance on projects and proper documentation.
Ensure safety regulations are being followed by subcontractors and employees.
Perform manual labor and utilize hand tools on a daily basis (Demo, Framing, etc).
Operate construction equipment, i.e. lifts, skid steers.
