SERVICE: Childcare & Education Services, Southern Hills, Hilltop and Here4Youth
HOURS: Part Time – As little as 4 hours per week or as many as 25 hours per week – Flexible schedule within Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm!
RESPONSIBILITIES: LSS Childcare & Education Services offers engaging after school experiences for students in grades K-5 that make learning fun! We are seeking part-time professionals to help care for a great group of kids after school at LSS. We have three locations in Sioux Falls: Southern Hills – 3400 E 49th Street; Hilltop – 1312 S Bahnson Ave; Here4Youth – 300 E 6th Street (Here4Youth serves special needs students). Key responsibilities include leading fun activities that are carefully planned by the program supervisor, communicating with parents, light cleaning, and working with co-workers to ensure that all children are safe and well cared for.
LSS provides staff with a strong team of supervisors to ensure a high level of comfort in their role, which includes adequate training and communication, and spacious classrooms that are stocked with supplies, toys and activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a strong desire to see kids learn and grow! Must be at least 18 years old and meet licensing requirements including no substantiated report of child abuse or neglect and no felony in the last five years. Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
SALARY: $14-15 per hour
