We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. This position requires a thorough knowledge of automotive systems, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and ensure safety and emissions standards compliance.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive repair is a plus.
• Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and an acceptable safe driving record.

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
