Overview

Work Arrangement:

***This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the U.S.A.***

Contributes to the design of automated batch and electronic file transfer environments. Ensures the availability, security, and integrity of both on-premise and cloud platforms in support of core file management and batch processing environments. Performs on-going maintenance tasks and participates in IT initiatives that strengthen the platform. Develops new processes and tunes existing processes to make the platform more efficient and more secure. Resolves trouble tickets and fulfills requests for new third-party relationships, as assigned.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions
  1. Provides subject matter expertise to support the design of the new Control-M and MFTE environment.
  2. Configures jobs and directory structures to optimize delivery of critical files and processing of jobs that power the bank's operational platforms.
  3. Participates in the design and implementation of file management and batch processing systems and services required to meet strategic objectives, client SLAs, and project schedule commitments.
  4. Resolves higher-complexity Service Desk tickets, as appropriate. Responds to escalated issues in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). Applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in support of business processing requirements.
  5. Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels. Provides system performance statistics and reports.
  6. Maintains file management and batch platforms. Manages and supports applicable technology areas including job schedulers, file transfer schedules, encryption, and file integrity. Manages file delivery mechanisms to ensure operational SLAs and flow of financial data to federal requirements.
  7. Participates in key process improvements as they relate to the client/server and core infrastructure services environment.
  8. Ensures baseline security features are properly implemented and functional across the platform. Installs, manages, and supports security-based applications and related tools.
  9. Collaborates with other functional areas within IT to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of assigned platforms in both day-to-day support and strategic projects.
  10. Participates in off-hours support and the on-call rotation.
  11. Acts as point of technical escalation for the Scheduling team.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Control-M and MFTE experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in a technical position supporting server environments.

Preferred Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Control-M and MFTE products: Architect, Build, Integrate, within Bancorp environment.
  • Experience supporting a successful implementation of Control-M and MFTE.
  • Working knowledge with various technologies such as: Windows Server, FTP/SFTP, Routing & Switching, Job schedulers.
  • General knowledge of cloud (AWS/Azure) and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Position requires a flexible schedule. Off-hours support required using a rotating on-call schedule.

Background & EEO Statement

Salary Range: $72,905 - $125,280 Annually
