Neighborhood Dental-41st St. Sioux Falls, SD has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dental Customer Service Specialist at a busy and fast paced Dental office. Dependable and Reliable candidates must meet the following criteria for consideration:
- 2+ years Customer Service Experience/Dentrix software knowledge preferred.
- Attitude & Personality to juggle multiple tasks with a smile!
- Knowledge of operating procedures in a Dental office is Required!!!
Full-Time; Monday to Thursday (7:40am-5:00pm) Friday (8:00am-4:00pm)
Pay: $20-$24/hourly, Depending on experience.

Responsibilities will Include:
- Providing excellent customer service to patients & making them feel special at each interaction!
- Focusing on ensuring great customer service experience, especially the New Patient Experience
- Creating a positive and professional atmosphere for patients and team members
- Practicing and maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Answering incoming calls, following NBD training protocols
- Scheduling appointments
- Dentrix Software
- Checking/responding to office voicemails, emails, and text messages (at least every 30 minutes)
- Checking and responding to appointment requests via patient communication platforms
- Checking patients in and out at reception desk area
- Collecting payment at the time of service and entering patient payments into the Practice Management Software
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Dental Clinic setting, operating Dentrix software or knowledge of dental software. We hire for personality and train for performance!
- Contributing to the Neighborhood Dental culture by supporting your team and Doctors efforts that promote collaboration, productivity, learning, and inclusivity.
- Bring a positive attitude to the team daily by welcoming patients and encouraging positivity throughout the clinic.
- Develop trust with patients and their personalities to provide best care and promote case acceptance.
- Able to take initiative and work independently without supervision.
