Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented
Auto Body Scan Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing pre- and post-repair vehicle scans using specialized diagnostic tools to identify and document electronic system issues. You will work closely with repair technicians and estimators to ensure accurate diagnostics, proper calibrations, and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct pre- and post-repair vehicle scans to identify diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
- Operate advanced scanning and calibration tools for various vehicle makes and models.
- Collaborate with estimators and repair technicians to ensure proper documentation and repair procedures.
- Clear codes and verify system functionality after repairs.
- Stay updated on new vehicle technologies and scanning procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Requirements: - High school, trade and technical school, and community college programs in collision repair or equivalent experience is a plus
- Experience in automotive diagnostics or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems and diagnostic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repair procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
- A good driving record is a must.
