Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Cabinet/Woodshop Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, estimating, and managing custom cabinetry and millwork projects. This position involves collaborating with contractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver high-quality work while maintaining project budgets and timelines. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Compensation: Starting at $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Design Collaboration: Work closely with contractors, owners, and architects to assist in the development of project plans and specifications.
Estimating:
Review and interpret project specifications and architectural drawings.
Create detailed and accurate estimates, including labor and material costs.
Validate the viability of bid requests and prepare competitive proposals.
Generate drawings using design software such as Mozaik.
Produce machine codes for production and coordinate with production teams to ensure project accuracy.
Procurement and Coordination:
Business Development: Identify and build relationships with current and potential customers to support business growth.
Safety Commitment: Follow proper safety procedures and use protective equipment when required.
Project Oversight:
Attend on-site pre-design reviews, when needed.
Help to monitor project progress to ensure schedules and budgets are maintained.
Address any client-requested change orders and resolve technical challenges promptly.
Assist with build and assembly and other duties as assigned and needed.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in cabinetry, millwork, or related fields.
Proficiency in design and estimation software (e.g., 20/20, Mozaik, V-Carve, Sketch-Up)
Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, construction techniques, and blueprints.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Valid driver’s license for site visits.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., samples, plans, supplies or equipment).
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computers, phones, and standard woodshop machinery.
- Visual acuity to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents.
- Ability to bend, stoop, or crouch.
- Capability to travel to job sites, which may involve walking over uneven terrain or in active construction zones.
- Hearing and speaking abilities sufficient for effective communication with team members, contractors, and clients.
- General physical stamina for performing fieldwork, as needed, in diverse environments.
