JOB SUMMARY: Southeastern is seeking a full time CARE Specialist at our 5th Street location, Community Support Services. This is a case management position providing comprehensive support services, psychosocial rehabilitation, and therapeutic services to adults with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse and developmental disabilities. The services are provided on both a planned and as-needed basis. Our CARE Specialists work as an active and positive member of the CSS team to assist adults with mental illness and addiction to move towards recovery through our Comprehensive Assistance with Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) program. Hours for the position are Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in one of the social sciences or human services field, bachelor's degree preferred. At least one year's experience providing services to individuals with severe mental illness (SMI) including those with co-occurring substance use disorders is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
