Correctional Medical Management is passionate about positively changing and impacting healthcare for the good of our clients in correctional facilities. Our locally owned company is seeking Certified Medication Aides to join our team at the Minnehaha County Jail. You will work in a supportive and safe environment in collaboration with correctional officers to provide quality healthcare to an underserved population. Not certified yet, we can help you become certified! Currently hiring for part-time night shift from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the provider
- Administer simple treatments per providers
- Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ensure compliance to all regulations pertaining to record management and HIPAA
- Monitor assigned work area’s medical inventory, equipment, etc.
- Prepare patients for provider appointments by taking vitals
- Manage pharmacy stocks of medications and medical supplies
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Completion of and certified as a Certified Medication Aide or be willing to become certified through our certification program
- Current CPR Certification
