We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at Dakota Wesleyan University. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our student-athletes while promoting a culture of health and wellness within the athletic department. Responsibilities:

• Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for injured athletes, with a focus on facilitating a safe return to play
• Educate student-athletes on injury prevention techniques, proper nutrition, and overall wellness
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all student-athletes

Qualifications:

• Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field (master's degree preferred)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working as an Athletic Trainer in a collegiate or high school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
