Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic leadership and intervention utilizing various counseling methods and procedures to assist clients in gaining insight into personal and interactive problems, to define goals, and to plan action reflecting interests, abilities, and needs.
  • Develop and facilitate therapeutic groups related to expertise and Agency needs as assigned.
  • Coach clients to effectively meet their needs
  • Meet minimum productivity expectations for billable revenue to third-party payers, including Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
  • Through a team effort, analyze information collected to determine appropriateness of service or referral to other specialists or institutions.
  • Network with community resources and other professionals to discuss therapy or treatment, new resources or techniques, and to share information.
  • Participate in scheduled supervisory meetings.
  • Communicate relevant client therapy issues to out-patient team.
  • Participate in agency and individually planned staff development activities

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.

Clinical Therapist III

  • Master’s degree required in counseling, social work, or related field; prefer two years’ experience.
  • Clinical Therapist III: Must be licensed or certified at the highest level in respective field of practice (i.e. CSW-PIP, LPC-MH, LAC**).
  • **A Master’s degree may not be required if the individual is licensed at the highest level.
  • Must be able to pass any tests, assessments and background checks required.
