Line Cook Duties - Report on time, help receive orders/stock rotation/organize food storage areas, stock and setup designated kitchen station, check in with manager for specials/updates/changes to service, prepare foods including proper cleaning/cutting of ingredients in designated station, proper batch recipe execution and recipe comprehension based on chef guidance, properly measure/portion foods for consistent presentation and cost, ensure proper food temperatures while food is being stored/prepared/cooked/held, prepare meals and foods to meet specifications of guest in a timely manner, keeping all equipment/small wares properly used/cleaned/stowed, keeping sanitation and hygiene practices consistent with guidelines, communicating with managers/expeditors/FOH properly and calmly, and complete closing duties depending on station expectations.
