Children's Home Society, in Sioux Falls, SD is currently seeking a Full Time Database and Prospect Research Coordinator to provide support of the Foundation database, including data input and output, integration, software management, and end-user training and support.

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as in-house technical resource and user support for Blackbaud products-- Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud Merchant Services, Blackbaud Payment Services, create and monitor user support cases as needed.
  • Setup and maintain user accounts and their access rights.
  • Design, setup, and maintain system coding structure, data standards, business rules, procedures, queries, imports, exports, and analytical reports according to user specification and timeline.
  • Oversee, and maintain donor information; ensure data is clearly defined and consistent. Apply global adds, changes and deletes to data, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate email lists and schedule emailing's. Report on emailing statistics.
  • Oversee the creation of forms, templates and workflow analysis for various types of data entry. Develop standards for data entry and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee gift processing including creation and assignment of constituent coding for both Children’s Home Foundation and Children’s inn to ensure data integrity and compatibility.
  • Assist fundraising staff to identify what data they wish to capture and record in Raiser’s Edge and assist the Development Director in determining the best structure.
  • Manage all aspects of online donations, events, and purchases and their integration with the website and Raiser’s Edge including creating web forms.
  • Ensure agency compliance with PCI-DSS.
  • Serve as liaison with the IT department in regard to Raiser’s Edge and ancillary software and equipment.
  • Oversee the expense, income, and sales of Children’s Home Foundation events.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Compensation: $65,000+ DOE

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.
  • Two to three years’ experience in database management, preferably Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge (including Events and Online Express Modules); experience using Auction Maestro Pro, Tex2bid, QCheck, PayPal, Dropbox and Basecamp is helpful.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required.
