Job Description

The Edmunds County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a responsible individual as a full-time deputy
sheriff. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a
background check, and pass a drug test. Applicants must be of good moral character. Starting
wage for deputy is $56,568 per year. Opportunities for overtime are available.
This position is specifically to be a Drug Dog Handler with a focus on drug interdiction. This
position will also manage daily sheriff’s office duties. Our ideal candidate must have the drive
and passion to deal with our already trained K9 Grayz. The candidate will have to go through
dog training with Grayz. A certified Officer with a passion for drug interdiction is preferred but
we are willing to train the right uncertified candidate.

is included. Hours of employment have flexible scheduling and rotating shift work. If you would
