POSITION SUMMARY
The Detailer will wash and clean the interior and exterior of customer trucks in preparation of customer final inspections, demonstrations, and shows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
- Clean interior and exterior of customer trucks by washing, polishing, spraying, and vacuuming.
- Installs pump intake and discharge caps, adaptors, and nozzles after all cleaning duties are done.
- Inspects paint finish and reports findings to Paint Department Supervisor or QC Inspector.
- Reports any findings of incomplete vehicle, missing items, or quality issues to appropriate supervisor or QC Inspector.
- Maintains supplies used in the wash bay.
- Cleans the showroom and maintains it to Rosenbauer customer standards.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor to meet the needs of the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’s): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
| Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience: - High school diploma/GED.
- Previous detailing work preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.

| Skills: Language: - Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions.
Math: - Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Computer: |
| Abilities: - Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
- Able to identify quality issues and recognize changes within the production process and make adjustments.
- Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
